Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be in pain to see a chiropractor?
No. Although many patients initially visit us because something hurts, others seek chiropractic care because of stiffness, limited mobility, recurring problems, or a desire to proactively maintain how they move and function.
What happens during my first visit?
Your first visit gives us the opportunity to learn about your concerns, health history, symptoms, activities, and goals. Your doctor will perform an evaluation appropriate to your situation and explain the next steps.
Will I be adjusted on my first visit?
That depends on your individual situation and the findings from your examination. Our priority is first making sure we understand what's happening and that chiropractic care is appropriate for you.
How often will I need chiropractic care?
There is no single schedule that applies to everyone. Recommendations depend on your examination findings, symptoms, goals, activity level, and response to care.
Do chiropractors only treat back pain?
No. While back pain is one of the most common reasons people seek chiropractic care, chiropractors also evaluate the neck, pelvis, and other joints throughout the body when appropriate.
