At the heart of Platinum Chiropractic is a clear and powerful philosophy: we address the foundational cause of your health concerns, not just the symptoms. Led by Drs. Bret and Lindsey Bartholomew, our focus is on Neuro-Structural Correction. But what does that mean for you?
Imagine the foundation of a house. If the foundation is shifted, even slightly, it can cause problems throughout the entire structure—cracks in the walls, doors that don’t close properly, and uneven floors. Your spine and nervous system act as your body’s foundation. Daily stresses, old injuries, and even poor posture can cause underlying structural shifts in the spine, which can place pressure on the delicate nerves that control and coordinate every function in your body. This interference can lead to a wide range of secondary conditions, or "symptoms."
Our purpose is to identify and correct these foundational shifts. By using precise, objective measurements and specific, gentle adjustments, we work to restore structural integrity. The goal is to allow your nervous system to function without interference, creating the optimal environment for healing, resilience, and lasting well-being.
Neuro-Structural Chiropractors, Drs. Bret and Lindsey Bartholomew have been proudly serving the Ames community since 2009. As a husband-and-wife team deeply rooted in the area—with Dr. Bret being an Iowa State University alumnus—they are passionate about delivering care that makes a lasting difference. By focusing on the Neuro-Structural Correction of the spine, they see beyond secondary conditions (symptoms) to discover the primary condition creating your issues. They explain it this way: Much like the foundation of a house, if your body is not structurally sound and has “cracks” in its foundation, your secondary conditions will continue to return until you fully address the underlying problem.
