Our Approach to Chiropractic Care

What Makes Our Ames Chiropractic Office Different

Healthcare professional consulting with patient

Many healthcare approaches focus on managing symptoms.

At our Ames chiropractic office, we take a different approach.

We focus on:

  1. Identifying the underlying cause of health concerns
  2. Improving nervous system function
  3. Creating long-term correction instead of temporary relief

By addressing how the body functions—not just how it feels—we help patients experience more sustainable results.

At the heart of Platinum Chiropractic is a clear and powerful philosophy: we address the foundational cause of your health concerns, not just the symptoms. Led by Drs. Bret and Lindsey Bartholomew, our focus is on Neuro-Structural Correction. But what does that mean for you?

Imagine the foundation of a house. If the foundation is shifted, even slightly, it can cause problems throughout the entire structure—cracks in the walls, doors that don’t close properly, and uneven floors. Your spine and nervous system act as your body’s foundation. Daily stresses, old injuries, and even poor posture can cause underlying structural shifts in the spine, which can place pressure on the delicate nerves that control and coordinate every function in your body. This interference can lead to a wide range of secondary conditions, or "symptoms."

Our purpose is to identify and correct these foundational shifts. By using precise, objective measurements and specific, gentle adjustments, we work to restore structural integrity. The goal is to allow your nervous system to function without interference, creating the optimal environment for healing, resilience, and lasting well-being.
